EMD E8 - Union Pacific® #928

Building on the success of their previous “E” unit locomotives, General Motors Electro-Motive Division delivered the first E8 in August 1949. Designed for passenger service, the E8 featured a streamlined car body designed to create a consistent appearance when paired with the lightweight passenger cars of the era, however, many also found use in freight service, proving to be equally reliable in this role. The Bachmann Big Haulers® E8 brings the elegance of streamlined early diesels to 1:29 Large Scale. Arriving in an iconic selection of mid-20th-century paint schemes, the model features realistic details, directional headlights and marker lights, and a non-proprietary plug-and-play circuit board for the control system of your choice.
